Situated along the Pulangi River, the Pulangi Riverside Boulevard is the Province of Bukidnon’s first riverside boulevard.
The project is a 500-meter-long boulevard that provides Valencianos a serene space for leisure. Areas within Phase 1 and 2 of the boulevard include an extensive walkway and bike lane. The boulevard’s 180-meter-long Phase 3 integrates the walkway and bike lane with picnic areas, a play area, a fitness area, and an amphitheater for a different leisure and recreational experience.
Phase 3’s walkway paving inspired by the flowing river, along with the strategic location of activity areas, is aimed to break the monotony and provide users a more stimulating experience.
Similar to Phase 1 and 2, Phase 3’s varying levels are designed not only to prevent inundation, but also to provide users with the best scenic views of the Pulangi river. Moreover, the boulevard contributes to the significant reduction of the vicinity’s pollution and urban heat as a result of the endemic trees and lush vegetation that are planted along it.
The Riverside Boulevard aims to improve both the riverside and landside of Valencia and become a tourist and cultural destination that is enjoyed by all.
