Urban Design is the science and art of creating and shaping cities and towns. It involves the arrangement and design of buildings, public places, transport systems, services, and amenities. Urban design is about making connections between people and places, movement and urban form, nature and the built fabric.
Landscape Architecture involves the planning, design, management and nurturing of the built and natural environments; such as parks, playgrounds, streetscapes, campuses, residential estates, tourism and hospitality projects, and mixed-use developments. Landscape architects go beyond designing frameworks and policies that enable the people to create better places for all.
Urban Planning focuses on the development and design of land use, and the built environment, air, water, infrastructure and transport networks. It is an interdisciplinary field that includes civil engineering, architecture, human geography, politics, social and design sciences.
It is the art and practice of planning and conveying ideas and experiences with visual and textual context.
